On first glance this photo of St Kitts looks like a beautiful viewpoint photo. But it’s not until you take a closer look that you realise exactly what it is. This photo captures one of those rare things in the world, where two oceans meet. I’ve not visited myself but this has to be the best viewpoint in St Kitts! I have only ever seen this in photos but I can imagine seeing it with your own eyes would be a breathtaking experience!

Stunning view point on the island of St. Kitts
“Last year we were on a cruise with Anthem of the Seas. One of the islands we visited was St. Kitts. We took a scenic tour in an open-air van to discover the island. And made several stops at the most beautiful places. First, we visited a Batik factory to see batik-making then where the British landed long time ago and we also learned all about Brimstone Hill Fortress.
While we were enjoying the views, we drove upon Gibbons Hill. The music was loud and the atmosphere was great. Everyone in the van was singing ‘I can see clearly now’ from Johnny Nash. All of a sudden we reached the top of the hill and we saw the most spectacular view. Tears came into my eyes seeing this breathtaking landscape where the rough Atlantic Ocean meets the tranquil Carribean Sea. It’s a moment I will never forget.” Wendy

This week’s photo comes from Wendy at WorldWideWendy and was taken using a Sony A350.
Wendy (1973 °) is a travel addict, foodie and bon vivant. In 2017, she married her soul mate and travel companion. Add in two great sons and a dog in and the picture is perfect. She travelled around a lot over the years and played a long time with the idea to do something with all the information she gathered. Et voila, WorldWideWendy was born. Wendy has now visited 60+ countries.
